I guess that solid yellow line down the center is just a suggestion.
Road must be rough, or the camera mount was loose. Bouncing around quite a bit.. An passing under the tunnel.. I'd ride it.

While I might be fine riding it myself, I'd be far less fine sharing it with all the semis.

Yeah...passing in a tunnel just sounds like a bad idea...I might want an o2 bottle for that ride up. I'm guessing the air is really thin at 10500 ft

Going into Yosemite from my side of the mountains you have to go over 10,000 ft in elevation. IIRC there are three passes on the 550 Million Dollar highway that exceed 10,000 ft.
I don't recall gasping for breath, the bikes did lack some power...

I lived in Los Andes, Chile from 1999 to 2004. Los Andes is at the foot of that pass. I have driven it several times.
At the summit is a Ski Lodge named Portillo. http://www.skiportillo.com/en/ The lodge isn't very good looking from the outside, but the inside is very well done. The view of the runs and lake from the lodge restaurant and bar are mesmerizing. If you have an urge to move to a South American country, I strongly suggest Chile. they pin their Peso to the US dollar. If you lived on the dollar like I did, it can't be beat. I bought a new 2 bedroom condo for $45,000 USD. Lived in it for 5 years and sold it in 3 days for $60,000. Doesn't seem very expensive, but it is Los Andes. Pretty swank for that place. I have only been able to return once since living there and I was working about 10 miles from Los Andes. I had to go back for another look. It had not changed much, the roads were much better, but the town square was exactly as I left it. Good Memories.
