Been One year for me clean from the evil Weed called tobacco.

Anyone need help with it, I am here to at least make you laugh.

I had it bad. Needed a fix every 10 minuets to keep the monkey at bay.

Spend 6 months with withdrawal symptoms.

A year later and the room still spins when I get a trigger.

It was controlling my life.........

I found out that my mom smoked while I was growing in her. I was a toback baby.

I smoked like h***!!!!!

Stopped cold turkey Valentines Day 1991.
Quenched the urge with Scoal LongCut Wintergreen.

I swapped one Nicotine infusion method for another!

Finally, 2 days before my son was born in 1994 I looked into the mirror and decided I had more to live for.

I swapped to some mint-based placebo dip-crap and got my a$$ off tobacco!

Never goin' back...advise ALL against!

I've been off Cope for a little over a year. Used to Dip all the time and smoke at work as well. Quit it all. Never miss the smoking, but damn not a day goes by that I dont wake up brush my teeth and the first thing I think of is where is my snuff. If my insurance at work wouldn't be $40 per month if you use tobaco I would go buy a can right not!

I always tell them "NO...I want a dip!"

Ya just got to wake up in the morning and say to yourself ---shit I just went 8 hours without a dip,,,, I can handle another five minutes without one.

Then after you make it for 8 hours and five minutes you tell yourself that it sure would be nice to have a dip but then you would have to start all over again and by the time you figure that out it has been 8 hours and ten minutes and you start to sweat and it don't get much better than that for at least two weeks but cold turkey is the only way.

I quit a two cans per week of Copenhagen a year and a half ago and no B/s it still ain't easy.

But I don't have to ride at the back of the pack so all the sissies wont get any grasshopper juice on them.

Going to try to quit in the next couple of months.when I go to the doc for the yearly check up.going to get the pills to help you quit smoking.anybody tried them?

If I can quit a one can a day copenhagen habit anybody can quit tobacco. Its scary how much money I was spening on that crap... that tasty tasty yummy crap that I still crave lol.

I tried the pills, buproprien or some such not sure how it was spelled... generic version of Wellbutrin anyway. They didn't seem to help me much, I ended up using patches and chewing nicotine gum.

Quit smoking (the last of several attempts) 4 1/2 years ago. I had tried cold turkey, hypnosis, gum, patches and the only thing that finally did help was Wellbutrin/Zyban. Former Surgeon General C. Everett Koop said nicotine was as addictive as heroin and from my experience, he was on target. Quitting was the hardest thing I have ever done. And, yes, almost five years later I still occasionally crave a cigarette.

Still smoking after all these years. I don't have the desire to quit at this time. I tried a couple of times and found it very difficult. Quitting drinking and Heroin was easier!

I smoked 3 packs a day solid until I was 30. Went to Dr to get patch when it was a prescription. Dr told me I smoked to much that I would have to get down to 1.5 packs before they gave me the patch.
I told him **** that give it to me and she did. Smoked my last cigarette when I left the DR and havent had once since like 92.
Of course I ended up quiting my job and gaining weight.. But it was worth it in the long run.

By the way..

Sancho is a pole smoker.
