I like.
Belt replacement without removing the swingarm! No ABS! 3 gallon tank!

Meh
I might be excited if I was an Indian.

Why would Indians be excited about a bike built in Kansas City?

I'm thinking I just might have to win the lottery and get me one of these!
Seriously, that engine setup needs to be produced in 103 CID and stuffed into the "big" bikes. The time has come.....

One piece forged crankshaft, insert bearings on the rods, the engineers designed this the right way. I agree, a bigger version of this would be good news for the "big bikes".

There's a lot to like there.
Let's hope we're seeing the genesis of the new Big Twin.

They're definitely aiming squarely at the right segment (the Japanese mfr-owned "standard Jap Bike" market), JSM style turn signals (non-canceling), kickstand switch, clutch safety switch all familiar to the existing JSM riders. Intake is mounted with rubber boots and hose clamps. Runs reg gas, mechanical valve adjustment. Vertical case split, integrated trans and crankcase, geared primary, balance shaft, etc.
These are not negatives; they are market targeted designs and I think they are just the right plan for this part of the market. Three phase stator is a plus. The serviceable cylinder sleeves are cool. Time will tell on big bore options, but I doubt there will be much market for it anyway. Mechanical cam chain tensioners (!) (neg) but the upside is that they are serviceable on an outpatient basis. The one-piece forged crank is great, but it does require other design trade-offs. I love these new Streets because Harley desperately NEEDS them. I'm certain that these and the Vrod will flavor the next Big Twin's design. But I still doubt that the eventual Big Twin will look ANYTHING like this or the Revo.

Not the "wooo wooo" kind of Indian. I meant the "I'm pleasing to meet you" kind of Indian.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...........................
If they get it sorted right, it could be a competitive machine in the 750CC race classes (just look at Ducati) and I'm thinking that it would prolly get pretty decent aftermarket support to boot. As a guy who road raced, and still likes tearin' up the twisties, I'm interested in it as a "fun bike" or commuter, but it lacks the basis to be any kind of a tourer, other than day trips, so alas, it'd be relegated to "2nd bike" status at my house............................. Oh, but what a second bike it would make.......................... Harley, if you are listening (and this bike makes me think you might be) y'all are on the right track.

Do the daily rider motorcycles in India / Asia market ride around on anything much larger than 400cc?
Don't see any racks to tie chicken cages to.
