Humidors?
So say you were to buy your first one, in let's say 20-50 capacity.
Do you have to keep at least 20 in it or a couple and up till it's full? Sent via FM (fookin' magic) it's all FM ain't it?

Pepi can probably give a better answer, because he's probably forgotten more than I know, but season it (with distilled water in shot glasses, not by wiping the wood and ruining it), get a GOOD (Caliber III, or the IV that's just coming out to replace it) hygrometer, some PG gel in a little 2 oz. jar, and keep it between 67-70%. You're gonna get about as many opinions as there are cigar smokers on here...
80% full is supposed to be optimal. In the winter you may have to supplement occasionally w/ water in a shot glass.

What he said... The whole idea behind keeping the humidor as full as possible is to help maintain temperature and humidity without too many spikes in either. and don't let mega kid you..he knows stuff...

The experts on YouTube say use a clean new sponge and wipe with distilled water. I don't see where moistening can ruin the wood. I've been a woodworker and carver for years.... I would not immerse, but a dampening wouldn't hurt.
Instead of a shotglass, I place a not-dripping-but-really-damp sponge on a saucer, and filled one of my flower shop foam pucks with distilled and let set for a couple days, then removed the sponge. I also put in a Xikar gel puck good for a 250 ct. humidor filled with Xikar PG. While that was going on, I salt calibrated my Xikar electronic hygrometer. After about 2 weeks, I removed the foam puck and everything has stabilized at 72% - 70° My way probably isn't the best, but it worked.... The idea is to get the internal climate up to 70/70, and, imho, letting the internal cedar naturally absorb moisture via evaporation could take quite some time, especially since every wood humidor I have purchased has came with silica gel packs, which are designed to suck any moisture out of the environment. Being the rookie casual maybe once in a blue moon user. I think I'll go for the 20-30 size one.
Being it's only in the mid ten's outside I can't even go out behind the outhouse to burn one. Sent via FM (fookin' magic) it's all FM ain't it?

Get at least a 50 ct because you will need the room. You can't just order and smoke, you have to let them sit in the humidor for a while. A larger box will give you the room for both newer and older cigars at the same time.

You can get a 50 stick at http://www.cigarsprintsale.com/ for just under $20 shipped, or the same w/ a glass top for around $23. Takes some time watching, but they come up VERY often. Just leave the tab up when you're doing other stuff.

http://www.cigarmonster.com/
and http://www.cigarbid.com/ can get you in heap big trouble, too. At cigarmonster, buy some cigars w/ shipping included and they'll usually not hit you for shipping on the humidor. Glitch in the system. They also have coupons at their main site that will work, too,

Like a shed, you will find your humidor filling up quickly whether or not that's what you intend. I got the Santa Barbara pictured below from Amazon for $85 shipped. It's a 150-stick, to which I say....."HA!". I've got no more than 90 adult-sized cigars in there, and it's slap-full. I use a digital hygrometer and 70% Heartfelt beads in a door-mounted box. Even in this dry air, it holds very steady and consistent at 69% (but I'm adding water weekly).
I think I've skimped on seasoning with both of my boxes. Were I to do another one, I think I'd do two shot glasses for a week, then add the beads for another week prior to moving anything in.
