So Much To Do

The FrankenBagger has been neglected, it's true. The past six months have had other stuff on the front burner it seems.
This year I've made the Snook run and now CloudRiders without really prepping a lot, just basics, but the upcoming Red lodge ride will require me to get with it. Tires and a couple of other things are prime for updates.

37000 on the King.

Tires. The Ingram run was the last 1000 for these. Metz most likely (WW)
Rear brake pads. My Indy ran out of them when I did the fronts last week.
Clutch discs. prolly need a fresh set for grins
Tune. I have to find the cure for the decel popping. Gonna try Mark's idea on this.
Bars. Picked up some heritage bars to replace the Wild1 510
What's it take to add heated grips(?) I'd like to try that.
I might even look into adding cruise No...Not gonna go get an Ultra, so just stop that...I mean it. I think.
Thinking of adding a few other things; watching eBay for these:
Reckless fairing
Hard bags
Trucklight

Always so much to do, it seems :sigh:

I think there's a lot to be said for keeping the RK going. 37K? You haven't even come close to gettin' all the goody out of it.

My clutch discs were still going at 91,000+, had at any time, 20W-50 HD syn or Amsoil, Amsoil ATF, Amsoil 10W-40, Amsoil ATF in there...

Looked good at 45,000 when I did the SSS (shift shaft seal).

Clutch plates: Is your clutch slipping, or has it ever? Any excessive clutch material or foreign material in the primary when changing fluid? Any burned smell when removing the inspection cover? Are you at the end of the clutch adjustment with the inner adjusting screw and cable? If all are no...leave it alone. At 37K?? Really?
