Polaris is playing this smart. They've got the modern American anti-Harley with the Vics, and a heritage bike with the Indians. The price point is right on both of them. And they offer a lot of stuff that you either can't get on a Harley (adjustable windshield) or you pay through the nose for (power locks).
Competition is a Good Thing, and it looks like Harley's finally got some. Sent from my iPad, probably while I'm pooping.

Showed Autumn the Victory touring line and got the resounding "no effing way" .... Have yet to look at the Indian model lineup, right after this post

Gotta' admit I kind of like the Chieftan with fairing model. Although I see no tour pak offered yet. I assume the moco will take no notice until they see if it really impacts their sales or not.

Well...... The only model I'd entertain is the Chieftan, and that fairing is a little much for me (I know, I know) along with no hard bag rear stowage?? Just sissy bars and a messenger bag. Pegs for the passenger is another big no-no in this house....

Just doesn't appeal to me.
I could live w the front fender. But the metal on the fairing? Nope @$^&#/(*^#^43> 41 Droid Galaxy SIII is pretty nice

Yep a little too much flash on the faring. And can do without the caliper covers, AKA fender skirts.
Maybe they could bring back the inline 4 and shaft drive?
