Shenandoah National Park Skyline drive this weekend.

Here are some pic of our teip to skyline drive this weelkend, met my buddy with his new wing in Harrisonburg Va and rode in, the ride up was great, middle of the night, no traffic and cool, the ride on the Skyline was awesome, lots of deer and one bear. We stayed at the meadowview Lodge, was nice and primitave. The ride back was the ride from hell, he went north on 81 back to PA, me south to NC, sat on 81 while they cleaned up body parts from a wreck, my oil cap popped off at 90mph and dumped a qt of oil all over the bike and the last 200 miles was in a downpour. but was a great short trip and now we know where to go for camping. There a 4 campgrounds in the park and Lewis Mtn seems like the best for peace and quiet. Bobs new wing is beautiful, the think does everything but change its own oil. They have become a very well engineered and functional machine, maybe one day in my future. Who knows.

GREAT RIDE!!!! Dang...glad you caught the oil loss issue when you did and hope it didn't mess things up too bad. I think I'll tighten my cap down a bit extra today before heading out......
