HE gave me the unused police decals from the saddle bags and said "put them on your bike" It is not against the law.

I admit they do look cool in the groove on my bags where they are meant to go....But I do not want to be a poser or a police buff.

He said as long as I am not pulling people over or dressing like a cop it is OK.

My Bike was an actual police bike....but I am not a cop...they just would look cool on an actual cop bike.....

What would you do?
Wile having a police sticker on your bike may not be against the law in your town or state, it is in many other states.

And there is the whole group of idiots out there that don't like cops, and just might run you off the road or take a shot at you because they think you is one.

I have given the sticker subject some thought.

I will not run the police stickers.

I will, however have my sign guy make me some stickers in the same color, same font that say POPEYE.

I will install them in the slots on the bags.

I really dig the cop seat.

Are we the only ones here who paid 50% of book for our bikes?
I have also gone back to the cop seat. I modified it, moved it further back and down, used a different airbag and have a tiny compressor for it. Very comfortable.

I traded my police RK on standard RK but I put air ride seat on civilian bike and I moved seat front a couple inches so I don't have to stretch arms out so far on longer trips. I never found good handlebars, I guess.

I love the cop seat. I'm 6'4 so it works perfect. I road my friends 08 Street Glide, it felt like my knees were in my chest.

The cop seat puts you up alot higher on the bike. The further up the road you can see the better.

There is a guy selling a 07 Police Bike Seat Setup on VTF right now. I really like his seat, it is different material then the standard ones. I'm tempted to buy it just for the seat. But I have a mustang passenger seat that matches my cop seat.

FYI- You guys probably already know this but. You can relocate the air tank inside the left hand side cover. It's about a 20 minute job and cleans up the rear fender. I did that and put on a laydown plate bracket
