Now this would be a good trip to do but four days in a lot skeptical on that one. I went from Frazier park California to Bryan TX in two days with one rest stop with an average of 80 miles hr . I left California at 8 am and got to my destination by 9pm the following evening,now that only hit five states and there's still 43 more to go . My rest stop was four hours long on a bench on the side of the road . I guess I'm just getting old

with a few variations to the route i think this could be more than a concept...hell i've already had an offer for a wingman, from a guy who i've never met .....the great thing is that we will both retire at about the same time....

i think i would try to do it in less than 48 days though....you could make good time on the east coast, but from the mid-west to the west coast would be where you would lose time just due to the vast expanses

I would change the northeast route to go through western New York. Hit Niagra Falls, Buffalo, on down through Erie into Ohio

Ah, traffic. Yeah, that does slow you down, I reckon. We tend to measure distance in hours here, too, but for a different reason. There are also those who measure distance in six packs.

I thought New Hampshire was rural and so without a lot of traffic. Darn. There go my illusions about NH and Vermont.

Depends on where you are, and what time of the year it is. Anything up north of Concord (except Kankamangus Hwy in leaf season and Bike Week in Laconia) should be free of traffic. The closer to the Mass border you are, the more traffic you have.
