Loving the Milwaukee eight

I really like this bike!

Took the new bike down to the cabin for the holiday weekend. First decent trip I've been able to do on it. With just a stage 1 (intake, exhaust) I think it has way more power than any of my modded periods bikes. The power is smooth, and always there.

For the trip home I thought I'd try out the GPS. The screen has pinch to zoom capabilities, just like most phones. Makes it easy to move around and find places. My phone disconnected from the radio about halfway home, I need to investigate that. I may be to blame, because it was paired to both the radio and my Pack talk headset at the same time.

Here is a shot of the trip computer screen when I got home. I didn't think I was going that fast.....

Cool, maybe the software needs an update?

Maybe it didn't like some e-mail or pictures on the phone and unfriended it?

I think I heard the mother ship is no longer providing software updates for the first gen boom system?

I get 99.99 MPG on a good coast downhill, no throttle.

Just can't bust the 100.99 MPG barrier.

Still looking for a steep enough grade, without those peskey hairpin corners, to coast above 100 MPH...

Damn, the Mothership has made some technological adavancements since my 2012 Dogfish!

Nice to hear of the power being on tap whenever required! I’m tempted sometimes but I dunno anymore. Enjoy the Hell out of it......

Pretty sure it was double counting the miles, though I'm not sure why or how. If I divide everything in half I get more believable numbers. Obviously has a bug of some sort.
