Choices/First world problems
Really torn.
I have a 2018 Ram Limited and a 2014 HD Limited w Harleys gorgeous blue paint. I am considering. Doing nothing Selling the bike Selling the bike and trading the truck for a Raptor. Trading the bike for a new Limited. The new Limited would be easier if I could get it blacked out like the Street Gudes can be. So? BTW, my confidence on the bike is flagging a bit. Maybe just because of not riding. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

The FLHTK (?) can be blacked out.
With the right amount of money. If you don't buy the Raptor, you will have enough to do the black out to the bike.

The Ford Raptor is the pickup truck taken to a wild extreme. It's the pickup member of the Ford Performance lineup, a family 0f vehicles that includes the 526-horsepower Mustang Shelby GT350 and the $400,000 Ford GT supercar. And it's a truck designed to bust through deserts, forests, and rock-strewn landscapes.
From its new Twin-Cooled™ Milwaukee-Eight® 114 (1868cc) V-Twin engine right down to its heated hand grips, the Ultra Limited has it all. Batwing fairing and splitstream air vent for optimal air flow and reduced head buffeting. All new BOOM!™ GTS infotainment system. Electronic cruise control, Reflex™ linked Brembo® brakes with ABS, responsive front and rear suspension, a Tour-Pak® carrier with room for two full-face helmets . The Limited Low should be fairly easy to move around. Both are fairly pricey, but either would be nice to have, and it would be really nice to have both. The one with the most toys when they die is the winner!

Tough choice. Can't say I'd help your process.
Trying to decide whether or not to purchase a hydraulic dump trailer.

Well, Raptor is out.
Just makes no sense here. My Ram Limited has all 5he bells and whistles, including 5 level air suspension and a better road ride. Now, if I could go tear assing around somewhere open, Raptor. I am thinking another Limited HD though. Does anyone of us have an M8 that can talk about ride and power differences? Or should I just go see Dave or Jamie and buy shocks? Gee, your so helpful Bob.
I know a friend (Not Smart Dave) who has a performance shop. He said performance wise, not getting many requests for upgrades as they run good. Having said that, I know he's torn down a bunch of them for engine failures. Lifters, oil pumps. Most were covered by manufacturers warranty, but some were just out of warranty. I know Harley is trying to address it, but I'd likely not buy one now. Sales dropped another 10 percent in 2018. If you do, I'd seriously consider the extended warranty and make no changes until it's expired. Just my .02

I have a 19 limited. Yes, the motor is different, but waaaay better than my 14 limited ever was, even with the mods I did. In my humble opinion. I did do the Harley stage 1 to stay within warranty, but it is easily the best running bike I've ever had, and I've had a few. Smoooooth power from the 114. Love it
The ride is solid. I haven't had the chance to push it much, but it is very good. I have no desire to change anything. All I can say is I have no regrets trading the 14 in on this bike. I would do it all over again in a heartbeat.
