Bit of a breeze tonight
I've got plenty of personal ballast but one of those gusts knocked me sideways off my feet this evening when I went out to feed the horses.
...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM MST SUNDAY... * TIMING...Southwest winds will continue to increase into this evening. These winds will continue through the overnight hours, gradually decreasing before sunrise Sunday. * WINDS...Southwest winds of 30 to 40 mph with gusts of 65 mph across the lower elevations with gusts over 70 mph on Outer Drive in Casper. * IMPACTS...Travellers along Interstate 25 should prepare for very strong and erratic cross-winds. Travellers along highway 789/287/220 from South Pass to Casper should prepare for very strong winds, along with possibly blowing/drifting snow.

We're getting our 20-30 MPH winds here, maybe blowing in the 1 inch or less snow accumulation storm.
It was 62 here yesterday when we went to June Lake brewing, today not going to go above 45... Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk

Winds kicked up here yesterday afternoon and have blowing and going all evening. We only have 25 mph winds with gusts up to 35. It's enough to make my hair stand on end though.

All of your hair on end would be a remarkable sight, T.
Wind and snow today. Wondering if I can get out of the neighborhood to work.

If the roads are slick and the wind is blowing that hard wouldn't it blow you off the road?

High profile vehicles go down with great regularity. I've occasionally been blown like an ice ship across a sidewalk. One summer between Lynch and Kaycee, we rode into seriously hard straight winds that not only tried to blow us sideways but apparently wanted to pick us up and dump us in the barrow pit, bikes and all. Riding and driving in Wyoming have their challenges... even without the driveways.

As long as the kite is built out of steel, heavy canvas, and flies at the end of an anchor chain.
