Tried a Monocular..
I had to go to Oklahoma for a shakedown on a turbine run and Academy had a sale on. It may be a bit of a gimmick but the glass seems nice from the hotel room window and the size is right to be on the belt all the time.......
Remains to be seen if if it’s worthy but initial impressions are favourable. My awesome Steiners get left behind too often due to bulk.

I am ignernt of such things so please humor me. Have these quality monoculars replaced telescopes?

I bought a cheap one and the adapter for my cell phone...it works pretty darn well. Saving for a better one with night vision.
