The big blackout of 2014
It has begun.
The goal is to remove any and all stock chrome parts and replace/paint/powdercoat them with gloss black or black/machined contrast pieces. It's going to be a work in progress for a long time, limited by funds, money, and planned road trips. Here is where I'm at so far. Before:  After:

I decided to do this when giving up the CVO. I guess I'm kind of making my own CVO.
I have a gloss black air-wing tour pack rack on order so I can add the additional light kit to it.

I AM going to do the airwing rack, because of the extra light. Had one on my Roadie and really liked it.

Looks great! I'd love to see the front fender trim and skirt in black powder coat. Or mebbe a Street Glide fender?
What's plan for the tank console?

I can't decide between paint and powder coat for the items that aren't available in black. Those that are available in black I'm buying and Ebay-ing the chrome to recoup some of the cost.
