I am hoping to still make it ......

so, I am adjusting the left hiway peg on the engine guard. I get on the bike to see if it is a comfortable position. I lose my balance (surprise) and fall over hitting the back of my head on the concrete driveway. I go in to get my son to help me pick up the bike (yes, i've seen the video but I just can't do it) and he said no you are going to the emergency clinic. Went to the clinic and they said go to the hospital to get stitches. I remembered what year it was but not who is our president. Had CT scan and it was normal so they put in 11 staples. Boy, that was a new experience. They said it was OK to go on a ride but my son and wife don't think so. I was going to leave about 4 AM and get there for lunch but now I will leave at 10 AM and get there for dinner if I am not dizzy.
I know, you expect nothing less from me.

Just checked the radar weather. If I leave now it would be thunderstorms most of the way there. I'll leave later today and get there too late for dinner but early enough to still hoist a few.
