New kitchen floor
Spent the weekend putting in a new floor in the kitchen, bathroom, and hallway. We used a tile called "Snapstone." No cement board, no mortar. They just snap together, then you grout the joints. Sits right on top of the subfloor. Although it was a little pricey, it was simple to install. My two brother in laws (yep, Yolkum was here) and my buddy came to help me. We had the whole floor laid by 1:30 on Saturday, and grouted by about 4. This is a great product, and I highly recommend it for installation. I just hope it holds up. Thanks again to Yolkum for all the help.
I'll try and get some pics up soon.

We did cork in the kitchen and it went to shit in a matter of days. I'm looking for something more durable myself.

I've had this down on a bouncy bathroom floor for about 4 years. You have to use their spendy grout for it to work right. Been flawless. We're very pleased.

I am dying to replace my kitchen tiles, they are white and always looks dirty, and there are a few cracks, a quick count tells me there are about 20 cuts around the edges to the cabinets, does it cut like regular tile?

We've had the same kitchen linoleum down for about 25 years. Still looks perfect despite every indignity that has been inflicted on it. Buying good tuff stuff is worth it in the end.

It has a plastic grid on the back that you cut too. All in the wet saw, one time per cut. Easy peasy.
