Butt pad recommendations Gel? Foam? Other?
I'm wanting to add something to the Mustang seat on the RK. I like the seat but it does have its limits. At the moment I'm looking for something topical not built in. Looking for ideas.
Considering changing to the much-talked up Corbin but not sure when. Gel pad? Help me out here.

Airhawk...
Mustang has enough cushion, but doesnt stop the monkey but. Course, a good piece of Sheep skin can do the trick too.

We stopped at Jim's in Axtell and David tried several different pads on his bike before he found the one he liked.

The only negative I've heard to sheepskins is that they stink when they get wet.
Gel gets really hot when it sits out in the sun. I had the Harley Circulator pads (Stoney's got 'em now), they did a decent job of getting airflow between the seat and my seat. The Airhawk is the same principle. With the Corbin on the BSL and the C&C on Vader (and I'd assume any leather seat), I don't need anything between me and the seat. The leather breathes enough to keep my hiney feeling fresh.

....maybe eat more, then you ass gets fatter & you have more cushion...
...I know that 1/2 the 35 lbs I gains since quitting smoking found a home there...

I did this same research last year and never pulled the trigger. Maybe this year? Alaska Leather sheepskin was the consensus.
I did switch to the Tallboy seat and added the footboard extensions. Those two items definitely improved my comfort.

I may need to investigate the Alaskan Leathers sheepskin further. I'm good to about 100 miles, then I start getting hot spots. Other than that, I couldn't ask for a more comfortable seat.
