Service manual says:
1. Remove Glove Box door flap. 2. Remove 2 flange nuts from clip studs and remove fairing cap. Do not twist or rotate fairing capor damage may result. 3. Hold locknut and turn screw to free assembly. Sorry. Forgot to repost. Me like. Lots more air. Mega told me to do this years ago. I have to clean the bars now. Those lowers really do block a lot of air.
