Laced up the work boots one last time today
As of 3 pm today, I became officially retired.
My trucking career lasted almost 38 years and covered almost 2 million miles. It was a sad day as I worked the last 25 years for a company that my Dad worked for. Between my Dad and I, we put in over 53 years of continuous service for the company. I had the honor and privilege of working with my Dad the last two years of his career there. But it's time to move on. So we shall.
