I think that with the high position of the upper exhaust pipe, the bags look a little goofy. A 2-1 system with a low exhaust pipe would be perfect for a set of the old Heritage Springer bags.

The point here, is that a bone stock Electra Glide runs just fine. Adding Stage 1 makes them run cooler and sound better, but it truly is not needed.

Stage 1 on my '05 Road King (sold) and my '07...

Stage 1 on my '05 Road King (sold) and my '07 Electra Glide. Both bikes ran (knock wood) perfect. A good, solid, reliable bike that will cruise easily, fully loaded, at 80 MPH works for me.

They know enough to sell 300,000+ bikes a year. The funny thing is, when I have rented 100% stock touring bikes (Electra Glides and Road Glides) they run just fine. Sometimes we are our own worst...
