ok, here's the update on the gaskets.

guess i shoulda ordered them and had em delivered.

but, i'm a doof...and proud of it.

i buy em anywhere i go...i just don't do black. now i'm collectin doof shirts too.
since i only wear t-shirts, i need a variety hangin in my closet.

What should I be using?

just use the standard gaskets. they seem to have worked quite a few years now.

I have never been able to get SE gaskets to seal. Tried it many times, several different pipes. I always use stock. Just a doof I guess.

I hear that a lot, but i really have to disagree. I changed the exhaust on my Heritage 9 times in two years....and I 've already had the pipes off the Ultra to swap the clutch cable.

The first time I bought gaskets I got the SE's on someones recommendation and they leaked when I installed my V&H pipes. since then I have always bought the stockers and when I remove them I cannot see that they have crushed into the opening and restricted the exhaust at all.

I keep a few spares on hand and just in case.
