Doses.
My sweetie and I are getting our Covid shots tomorrow. I have heard the pros & cons about it and just hope we are making the right choice.
Had a question about shots in general. Take the flu shots for example. Why do they seem to give the same size shot to everyone? Whether you are a 90 pound woman or a 300 pound line backer, you get the same amount of vaccine in the syringe. Shouldn't it be matched to body mass?

No idea on shot size.
We got the Moderna. No side affects other than a sore spot for a day or two. After the second shot I tried a little more vigorous massaging of the injection site to see if it would reduce the soreness. Didn't seem to make any difference.

Had a blood test that was positive for covid antibodies. Guess it really was the vid I entertained in December. Figured.

1) Jan and I have both had both of our shots - no side effects for either of us
2) Flu shots .... there is a SENIOR dosage for the annual vaccination. I know, Jan and I both received our 'senior' dosage shots last fall. https://www.cdc.gov/flu/prevent/qa_fluzone.htm Fluzone High-Dose Quadrivalent contains four times the antigen, the part of the vaccine that helps your body build up protection against flu viruses, then Fluzone Quadrivalent and other standard-dose inactivated flu vaccines I'm surprised you didn't know that Fred  oke: LOL

Yah, had the 'old folks' high dose flu shot last fall as well. Made my arm more sore than the Covid shot.
