Stranded by a few snow flakes in Arkansas
My latest job has me traveling every week to a multitude of states working on telecom reserve power. I left Memphis about 5pm for my 135 mile journey home, and am still 63 miles away because of a frozen bridge and a multitude of accidents. It’s now 12:15am and we’ve moved maybe a half mile in the last 5 hours. If I had of known about this, I would have stayed in Memphis. My lead tech is in a van about a mile behind me. I sure hope we get paid for this standed in traffic time. If not, I’ll be seeking new employment before the first of the week

it's now climate change. extremes in all seasons.
BTW, I saw a report that new housing in coastal areas has really skyrocketed. Builders are ignoring the warning signs.

You need a small camper or van conversion so you can just pull over and tuck in once in awhile.

I’ve worked several sites in south arkansas in the last 8 months. I’ve traveled south ark more than I have over my lifetime. I much prefer the Ouachita or Ozark mountains and twisty roads
