S/E compensator & S/E clutch
I got the BSL back today with its new parts. For those not keeping score, I've been having issues since the spring with clutch engagement, and my clutch had recently started slipping.
Took it back to the dealer to have it taken care of under warranty, and my compensator was shredded at 25,000 miles. They swore the stock clutch was OK, but offered to install the S/E while they were in there. They were also kind enough to replace the stock compensator with the S/E unit at no cost to me. So I paid for a new clutch (15% off!) and half an hour labor to install it. I only took it for a quick ride to get gas, but the difference is phenomenal. No more jerking when I start the bike in gear, much quieter too. Great clutch engagement, and I still have a decent friction zone without a substantially harder lever pull. Anyhoo, thumbs up so far.

i think the problems are stemming from a loose nut in the seat or the shed has a curse placed on it....

I'm half way there..swingarm, new belt, new pully and wheel are on. Anybody got a Rhinehart torqa clamp? The stock bolt was stripped and I had to cut it off with a dremel tool.
