PED pro .... We are now required to take into account hitting a pedestrian, some use airbags, some hood crumple zones. It really effects where we can mount things under hood since we can't have a hard sharp corner that could be impacted by a pedestrian landing on the hood.

If the intent is to cushion the impact, why isn't the bag in the grill?
If the intent is to cushion the landing rather than the impact, why not mandate padded streets? If the intent is gov't meddling, never mind. Maybe pedestrians could wear big body 'floaties' with impact triggers like air bags have. joe
