The bed looks way different when I make it...

Mary has her own way of doing it... rather complex... every pillow must be rotated a certain way, the openings in the pillow cases must point toward the side of the bed, and the vertical pillows must have their opening down and toward the headboard. The sheet and blanket must be turned back from the pillows and tucked prior to the comforter being placed over it even though they can't be seen...

I don't understand the whole thing... seems easier to just leave it unmade... kind of welcoming you back after the day...

Since I pull all the covers to my side every night, if I didn't make it, that's right, I make the bed, every morning, the lovely wife would have no covers after the 2nd night. I do make it to the wife's specs though.

But what is up with all the damn pillows anyway???

Boy, you're very lucky my dog doesn't live at your house. He loves to take a freshly made bed, root around then flop out when he's comfy.

I have a feeling he wouldn't last long there.

Enjoy, and have her watch Monk.

I accept the way the bed is made. I've tried to make changes, but they were generally over-ruled. I try to get out of the right side in the morning, but it doesn't always work.
