I've seen Mike do that, with Gray stacked on top.
Frightening, yet splendid.

You don't need to see it. It's still there...and you'll always know it's there.

Just like the really beautiful woman that walks into the bar, you can't see everything, but your imagination runs wild.

Same kinda deal here.

Good Job Mike, Glad I never over stressed mine by miss mounting my pipe and cracking it. I would have to send the new one to you for power coat.

One of the first things I did on my bike was mask the crap out of it, put it on a lift and spray painted that bracket... I hated it...

The second thing I did was the baisley spring... which was the event where I put the first scratch on chrome... heat shield clamp scratched my $160 extended brake arm... (now I remember why I have this hatred of heat shields... interesting...) when I removed the right header...

Are you saying that I reinstalled my header incorrectly and stressed the bracket... ?

In thinking back... I wasn't even close to being the last one that installed that header before it broke...

When I did it, I checked the BUB instructions.... install header to head, hand tighten... install exhaust bracket, hand tighten... install muffler to header and rear support bracket... line everything up and then torque from front to rear: head, exhaust bracket, rear support...

I don't think it was me...

But I'll powder coat your bracket... just file and sand it first...

Just giving you crap Mike, but most Harley parts break because they were installed under stress. The vibration does the rest. Not saying it was you, and that heat wrap will definitely help the situation. Nice cushion for everything to ride on.

Dogbreath1956 has failed to amuse us
Mike, you couldn't get a allen under the cable so you didn't have to dump the tranny? The reason I ask is I have new pipes to install and thought that once I got the bike up on a lift I could get it off without pulling the cover.
