Does Any Body Know...
What the CFM Flow of the stock HD FI throttle body is?
I know but I cant remember the formula for calculating it.... And if the larger HD throttle body is worth the extra cost and of course what the CFM of that throttle body would be... Isnt it a 44mm? will just have to get the SE book out...... |

HarleyGirl, a stock Delphi Throttle Body (2002 up) will power up to a 107. putting a larger one on a 95" is questionable, more cubes are better, but you have to make use of a high RPM range to make it be effective. Unless you are looking for more than 110 hp, you are better off with a stock size for street use.
Many people go too big and find that their bottom end has no power. There are many other things to do to you engine before a larger TB is needed or even workable. On a stroker(96 or 103 or a stroked 107), the bottom end is even more important, because on stock ones, the top RPM is lower than a stock 88"(that is part of the reason for the taller gears)
