Yeah, I told him that price was a stretch. My thinking is that he's not really wanting to sell it, but I'll offer him the feedback. I appreciate the help.
As far as the belt primary, he ran the chain for a while, but could never keep the tension correct, so he swapped to the belt primary, still inside the tin, during a refresh of the motor. He's refreshed the motor twice since he got the bike in '86.
