NAPA here only carries (and has a catalog listing) 4" and up standard t-bolt clamps.

The smallest I could find online is this one, 2 1/4"http://www.napaonline.com/Search/Det...531_0282457434

My local Napa has them on a rack smaller than this though.

Looks like they are made by Ideal and don't have the bend at the base of the bolt.
The local Fastenal lists these, too (in my size) so maybe I'll give them a call Monday.
Using one without the bend didn't give you any problems?

And my usual MO is to start cleaning up my messes when she pulls in the driveway, because she refuses to call when she's leaving somewhere so I can have sufficient time.

From the local Fastenal, a 2" SS t-bolt clamp (Ideal mfg.) did the trick.
I think the 1 7/8" would have been better, but they didn't carry that size for some reason.
$4.00 and change.
BTW, I'd rather be Keith than thread those damn hose clamps through that heat shield again.

OK, I've got everything routed right and out of the way inside the fairing, but when it's cold (30s and below) I have an annoying squeak in the 1800-2200 RPM range that I think is the windshield against the outer fairing.
Noticed the black rubbery strip on the inside of the outer is pretty much worn through near the screw holes. Anybody ever replace that, or what?
When it was wet after I washed it today, it was dead silent. Of course, it was warmer, too.
