Whining and humming

Actually, for once, I'm not talking about me. Seems like my E3s are humming in turns (mostly the rear, I think). I've actually heard dirtbikes making less noise than mine if I'm turning over 40mph. The tires have about 14K miles on them, and I run around 40 PSI. I'm guessing I only have a little while longer before they need to be replaced, right?

I was looking at another bigger forum, and some people suggested getting a car tire instead. And some guys were talking warranty and all that. That was all I needed to read from that thread.

I suppose I could run a louder exhaust so I don't hear it anymore, too. Hrmm...

For the life of me, I can't remember what pressure I ran in the Limited's tires. I run 38/42 solo, 40/45 2-up on both Vader and Helga.

I like scallops, especially with olive oil and garlic.

Yup, you're almost ready for new shoes. Depends on how long you can stand the noise.

Yep. Same here. Getting the howl in the curves. When the weather goes shit, wheels go to powdercoaters and then new tars put on.

I'll have to listen to mine, I know they're ready to be replaced. Shadetree Powersports seems to have the best prices that I've found.

Mine are doing it too.

Pressure 36F 40R

I don't understand how the tire whine means replace when the tread wear is not anywhere near any indication molded into the tire.

Maybe I should have traded the bike a while back like all previous one, well, except for my old Yoshimura filled Suzi...that ate tires, but I rode like a demon.
