Nuts.
One of the elders of our church died suddenly early last Sun. morning. Dave and I tried to go to the viewing last night. I say tried, because we stood in line for close to an hour and a half and maybe got a third of the way through it. I had to leave to go to choir practice and Dave's feet were killing him so he headed home. We really didn't know him all that well, but wanted to pay our respects; he left behind a wife, a 19 or 20 year old daughter and 16 year old son. Very sad.
This man taught and coached in the middle and high schools here for over 30 years, plus being an elder of what is probably the largest church in the county. We knew we'd be standing in line, but it was insane. I hope somehow he knows how appreciated and missed he is. |

very sorry to hear that Boop.
I'm sure a person that has that many people showing up to give their respects is a person that would understand. may he rest in peace.

He obviously touched many lives in a very positive way. He was a very rich man in friendships.
