V-man, my story
When I was pup I bought an old ranger scooter, 2 speed, 5 horse Briggs, big saddle seat, step through, basket above the rear fender, etc. Then a red Cushman, I had to put my own 3.5 Briggs on it. My neighbor didn't like me riding it through the alley's around my brothers house so he had the county deputy who lived in town stop by for a chat. He didn't buy that I was just adjusting the carb. Next mini bikes. Then my brother started running a Cushman shop and I rode my 175 Enduro to drivers ed. That didn't go over well either. I did the motorcross thing for a while, climbed and rode strip mines. I rode a variety of street bikes. Then they built the Virago. Yarley we called them. I had a 1981, the first year they were out. I hadn't by been on bike for 25 or so years. Then I bought the Green Monster, an 81 Virago, this spring and intend to ride it for quite sometime. I would like to tag along on occasion if that would be cool.

 Worst wreck I ever had was on a Virago 920. On a demo ride, I hit a patch of gravel on a sweeping downhill curve. Got her on the side going over the bank, down a steep embankment into a creek bottom. Was lucky, over 250' covered with only an unbelievably sore next three days. Raced enduros with Yama TT500s about that time, too. Had fun!
