Problem with the triple was overheating middle cylinder, synthetic two stroke oil is supposed to help.

On a 2 stroke? Never heard of that. But I haven't really kept up with it. My sled is a semisyn, but I think they did that to keep the valves from sticking.

As for the middle clynder getting hotter, you would think it would, but not sure if that is so true either. I thought about richening up the middle carb, I was told not to bother. Plugs all looked the same if I remember too.

Make it into a chainsaw then go up to Hayward and enter the lumberjack competition.

Should be quite the show.

Gray got it right. That Kaw 500cc triple is damn fast,... and the front end is really light. I damned near killed myself on one of those. It'll be fun if you get it running, and it will make a good quarter mile bike,... but be careful,... like I said the front end is really light.

I got frame stripped down. Maybe powder coat. Sorry no rear fender.

I just bought a new bike. So I took it apart, to learn about bikes, with the though of restoring it. I did have it my living room one winter, cleaning the frame. Don't know why I just didn't take a couple cans of break clean and be done with it.

Just ended up on the back burner. I think about it every know and then.

You're gonna end up like Xkvator (notice the capital "X") with sheds full of junk if you don't get rid of it now.
