Gee, when I bought my '05 I only paid 4 1/2%, just like on my truck.
You need another Credit Union, Paul.

Just reading this....... I'd certainly go another route for financing. Harley credit does NOT do any of us any favors.

I think that you all need to find another dealer, based on the fact that he didn't even call the credit co.

BTW, I ain't into apes, but that scooter is sharp!!!!!!!!!

Sure do, and a lot more income. And there are banks that won't write motorcycle loans, either.

this thread and many other first hand experiences of my own and friends leave me feeling kind of pissed when i think of all the $$ i have dropped into hd hands since 1977 my first "new" bike.
i have had one too many "issues" with the moco in the last few years.

i voted by moving to Victory. never looked back. not for everone though my friend just dropped over 1200.00 into his 2001 twin cam worn chain tensoners among several other things. and although he is pissed never would even look at another brand-ever! he just keeps laying it out there. he is tired of one of the nearby dealers though and has moved to the same one i still buy parts etc from. not as close by but at least courteous service and parts people who can get parts that "arent on the computer"

i myself still cant get over shovels and ironhead sportsters though...must be an illness.

looking for an amf year shovel right now.
