fried pickles

Fried Dill Pickles
l beaten egg
3-l/2 cups flour
l cup milk
l tablespoon Worchestershire sauce
6 drops hot sauce
l teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon pepper
l quart sliced dill pickles
salt
pepper
vegetable oil
Combine egg, l tablespoon flour, milk, Worchestershire sauce and hot sauce; stirring well. Set aside. Combine flour, salt and pepper; mix well. Dip drained pickles into milk mixture and dredge in flour mixture. Deep fry at 350 degrees until pickles float to surface. Drain. Yield 8 servings.
Fried Pickles
l egg
l teaspoon salt
l/3 cup milk
l/2 teaspoon black pepper
l/3 cup Worchestershire
l/3 teaspoon tabasco
2 cups flour
l/2 tespoon paprika
l tablespoon garlic salt
l/4 teaspoon black pepper
oil for deep frying
Kauson Whole Pickles
Whip together all ingredients for seasoned egg wash, set aside. Mix ingredients for flour mixture in a shallow dish. Slice pickles to l/8 inch thick. Dip into flour mix, then egg wash, then flour mix again. Fry until golden brown, about l minute. Drain on paper towels. Serve with diping sauce of ranch dressing, ketchup or horseradish sauce.
Fried Dill Pickles
l egg-beaten

l cup milk
l tablespoon Worchestershire sauce

l teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon pepper
l quart sliced pickles

pepper

Combine egg, l tablespoon flour, Worchestershire sauce and hot sauce; stir well. Set aside. Combine remaining flour, salt and pepper and mix well. Dtip drained pickles into milk mixture and dredge in flour mixture. Deep fry at 350 degrees until pickles float to surface. Drain.
Gaudet's Deep-fried Pickles
l cup sour cream
l/4 cup prepared blue cheese dressing
l jar sliced dill pickles
oil for deep-frying
l/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons Dijon-style mustard
3 cups seasoned bread crumbs
Mix sour cream, mayonnaise, dressing and mustard together in a serving bowl. Set Aside. Dredge pickles in bread crumbs and deep-fry in oil at 350 degrees until golden. Serve with sauce for dipping.
Memphis Fried Pickles
dill pickles sliced l/4"
l cup flour for dipping
l teaspoon baking powder
l teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon Accent
l/4 teaspoon white pepperl/2 teaspoon paprika
l/2 cup warm beer
l/2 cup buttermilk
Dredge pickles into flour mixture and fry in hot oil.

I like fried pickles, we just dipped them in drakes mix and threw them in the fryer.

I going to have to try a real recipe.
