I saw one of those goofy looking Scion things at the Toyota dealer this morning when I was getting my 2012 Tundra. There is no way on gods green earth I would be seen driving that funky looking little roller skate. The sticker was a touch over 16k and it only gets 36 mpg in the city.

It has worse fuel economy and acceleration than my bike, and probably about the same cargo space. The only advantage I see is a roof and maybe snow tires.
According to various reviews, the Chevy Cruze Eco is getting mid 30's around town. It comes with room for 5, a trunk and keeps XKvator employed.
