Being positive... I hope to hit 2000 miles before the end of October
November and December will be "raising the bar" months... forcing me to aim higher next year. I'll keep rolling. I'm trying to hit my goal as quickly as possible because darkness is getting here sooner every day now. Getting dark at 6pm... along with other things, has made me come up short 3 years in a row. I was 140 miles behind in February this year because of daylight after work issues. I'm gonna make it!!!!!!

Long Day
Left the house at 5:30 am to go take a drug test at the union hall this morning, and had a 4 hour CPR class at 4pm today. Took a bicycle with me to fill the mid-day void.
I went to the Silver Comet Trail and pounded out 35 miles in 2 hours and 2 minutes with an average speed of 17.4 mph. I'm a little tired  40 miles to go... I can taste it!!!!!! 1,960 miles ridden in 2012 on a damn bicycle

Just Didn't Have It In Me
Rode 22 miles today
Tomorrow will be a double milestone day. My Trek has 5,980 miles on it. I'm planning a 20 mile ride in the morning to roll 6000 miles on the Trek and push me over 2000 miles for the year. That's the plan... 1,994 miles ridden in 2012

Done
I didn't ride Saturday.
Instead, I rode my Harley with 4 others to HD of Macon. They were having an open house and car/motorcycle show. There were some awesome muscle cars there from the 50's, 60's, and 70's. Some nice vintage motorcycles, too. It was sunny and warm. I'll ride my bicycle tomorrow... Today.. it's 50*, windy, overcast and dreary. I rode 10 miles and... AND.... AND!!!!!!!!!! 2,004 miles ridden in 2012
