Figured I would start this thread so we can post up when we talk to Jim.

Just spoke to Jim and he's outside of Dallas driving to Nashville...told him we will be checking on him during his drive..looking to arrive in Nashville around 10 or 11. Cindy...have you spoke to him recently?

No, I haven't talked to him yet, but I got his number from N00dles. I was waiting a little while to call 'cause I know so many others are calling and I don't want to tie up his phone too long in case the hospital is trying to call him. I know he appreciates the calls though and knowing that everyone is concerned. I'll call him in just a little bit and see what I can do. I'll keep y'all posted too.

All Jim knew this morning when I spoke to him was that Patty had been in a bad car accident. After the emergency liver resection, and she came to in the recovery room, she was able to give Jim's phone number to the nurse and she (the nurse) called him at home this morning. Hopefully, he will be getting more details from the police today while he is enroute to Nashville.

thanks for the info, didn't know what was going on or what had happened. car accident sounds better than bike accident though, usually, maybe sometimes at least. prayers sent up from here, keep us informed if anyone finds anything out.

Just got off the phone with Dinero.

He was around Hope, AR, about 6.5 hours out of Nashville. He hasn't heard anything new yet.

Patty's sister is on her way phrom West Virginia also. Until she get's there, no one knows anything about her condition.

Apparently Patty was on her way home phrom West Virginia visiting her new Grandbaby when she was in an accident. Jim had some indication something was wrong when he lost contact with her while she was heading home last night.

Everybody keep the both of them in your thoughts.

I've been trying to call, but it's going straight to voice mail. I left a message, but he might have a slew of messages from people by now. I hope I can get in touch before he gets through Memphis. I don't know if he had time before he set out to do much planning or if he knows right where the hospital is. I've got maps and directions and telephone numbers printed out for him. Also a more reliable vehicle. I heard he was having a little trouble with his truck earlier, and figured that would be one less thing he'd have to worry about.

I can meet him right off the Interstate so it won't delay him any. If someone talks to him in the next 3 hours, please tell him, in case I don't get hold of him.
