Added some progress shots of the kitchen and family room

You can see the pin mounted mantel support... had to hack the lag screws down a bit... I'll get a pic of the mantel in place prior to finishing sometime today.

Did the design, most of the framing, all the electrical and lighting, cabinetry installation (bartered for boxes), mechanical, drywall, texture, paint... all bullnose is hand formed... no plastic... paid to have the stone and tile done...

Hearth is slate, the kitchen floor is porcelain...

How do you like that dishwasher, Mike? I have installed a number of them. But, have yet to hear how they like them.
Does it take big pots, pans, cookie sheets, cutting boards etc.? Oddball size stuff? How about when the whole fam damily comes and you need to stuff it full. How does it do?
