Got some more progress today. Pulled the wires through the bars. Started to solder on extra wire when Gene came over. He showed me a better method then we took off for lunch. After I got back, I finished up the wiring. And also sanded down the inner fairing and put a couple coats of paint to it.

Be sure to rebuild your calipers. The kits are cheep from HD and come with a special lube for the pistons.

I order new clutch and throttle cables over a week ago. The shop finally called like 3 minutes ago to let me know that they finally came in. Looks like I better put some pants on, and go pick em' up.

Got the cables on last night, and was ready to fire it up. But after connecting the battery the switches weren't working, and the lights didn't work either.
 I started tracing wires this morning and found a few wire harness connectors weren't plugged in all the way.  At least it was something simple. So I took her out for a short ride this morning. The bike feels so much bigger with these bars on.

Looks good Doug. I like the black handlebars. The seat needs some gorilla tape though.
