One thing I have found out about HDs, is that a lot of things fit other bikes than the one they were designed for. At the most, you might have to fab up a bracket or modify an existing one.

I kinda pay atttention to this topic because my FXRT has a White Bros E-pipe, which is long discontinued.

I've read threads about people putting early Dyna 2-1 pipes on FXRs by using FXR brackets. I think Old Goat over at HDForum was one of them.

Another factor is that FXR pipes are different for bikes with 'boards than for those without.

I always read threads about LSR, as they're who I'm leaning towards for replacement pipes when the time comes. The common complaints about LSR are the guy's people skills and wait time for orders (the pipes are built when ordered). Quality issues are random, just like for any builder. LSR also has a 'Black Hole' exhaust for those who don't like loud.

Thanks Mike, however that model will only work with forward controls, I have mid-bike mounted controls and no plans to install forward controls.
