So Simple...
My buddy pulled up in the driveway with his new Duke, and while its not quite for me I did notice some nice design elements (and several very quirky ones) The thing that hit me the most between the eyes, is that the tire valve stems are built into a 1 piece 90* fitting that points it right at you!!
I must be daft fer not thinking of that on my own after so many years, next tire re & re thats exactly what I'm going to do at least on the rear..... Dirk |

Here you all go, this should be standard on the rear of all touring pigs - I'll be doing mine when re-tire is due..... I'll figure it out with a little Canuck backyard engineering if the hole in the rim is different, but my oil filter wrench just tightend up his fancy Italian oil filter so there's hope

That's been a bitch of mine since I bought, DaSkoot. I mean, could you help a brother out? The ninety degree air pressure guage that I bought from the stealer, disassembled itself in my saddlebag.

That is a good idea. I removed a saddlebag to get to mine and you still need to be double-jointed and have tiny hands to check and fill .

I put my bike up on the bike jack, spin the tires around 'til the valve stem appears, and use a 90° air chuck, connected to a compressed air source, to fill the tires.
But, then again, I'm a 'rich old guy on a bagger'.

I would think that surely there MUST be an aftermarket electronic Tire Pressure Monitor system on the market by now, right? I mean, they are so common in the automotive world these days. It would seem so....perfect.

But the weight of the sensor throws off the paint dot theory.

Easy, just balance the naked wheel. Use internal weight.

The wheels on the new Ulra's (28 spoke) suck for checking air and filling. Here's one solution:
