Oh I'm not wadded up. Just looking for some comparisons on price. Thats it. Nothing more...nothing less. No hidden agenda here, Boss.
I expect good natured shaggin'. Just could give a rats ass on what oil one guy or another prefers to run or how he chooses to express his opinion to the pros or cons to the oil i'm axing a simple question about local pricing. No smilies needed.

I thought I saw a study somewhere (not from the MOCO) where Syn3 ranked up pretty high. like in the top three. It may not be the best, but it's not as bad as the reputation it has.
Now before anybody jumps on me, I'm talking motor oil. Syn3 is not gear lube.

Somewhere I've got the Amsoil white papers, and I believe that the top three oils were Amsoil, Mobil 1, and Syn3. There wasn't much difference between them.

Might as well put tap water in your tranny as Syn 3. Same viscosity.

Yep, all things being equal, I just buy the one that I can have delivered to my house by the case, with filters and tranny fluid, that helps keep the lights on here.
But that's just me.
