They are the quietest ones Rush offers.

and the only time they are quiet is when your bike is at or just above idle
I switched out from the 2" to the 1.75" for a little more bottom end. I like em

I have the same on my 08 Ultra with 2" baffels. Stock air cleaner.
It's slightly lean. After a 2300 mile trip I see some slight yellowing where the right side clamps on. It was an experiment to see if it would be ok with the stock AC. Since I'm not going to get away without a fuel management system. I'll probably change to the Fatcat with quiet baffel, then a SERT. Chris |

Have been running some SE offroad only mufflers the last couple of months, they were just to loud. Even had the machine shop at work make me some adjustable baffle plates for them to try and shut them down some... still a "little" to loud but better. Ran like that for month or so, woke up the a.m. and just said enough is enough. Went to dealer and got a set of 1.75 Rush with the removable tips, got double groove tips to go with them. Paid a premium for being in a hurry and not ordering online like I normally would have, but was just tired of it being so loud... wasn't so bad on the highway below 70 but above 70 or about 3200 RPM it just got annoying. Just took a put around the block and so far am happy with the Rush. About to run to town to take care of some errands will see how they are on the highway. If I do down the road decide they are to loud or to quiet where can I get the 1.5 or the 2.0 baffles by themselves? Any other brand of baffle work in them? Probably be having an almost new set of SE mufflers #64926-99 for sale for around $125 or so for sale after my daughter gets 'em cleaned up for me if anybody wants more sound for their FLH.

thanks for the Rush websight.
For now I think I am happy with the 1.75" baffles. Give them some time for the packing to burn in and see how they sound. They are nice and mellow on the highway at 75 so long as they stay that way I'll be content. I can feel a little loss of power, just seat of the pants, figure if it tried the 1.5" it'd be even worse, and imagine if I went with the 2.0" baffle it might start getting a little loud again.... gonna have to be happy with what I got and quit looking for that elusive "perfect" sound... they are actually pretty perfect right now. I do wish that Rush's websight gave prices for their different baffles and tips, just a phone call away if I really want them I guess.
