If / When I get bagger...I'd consider the V&H Ovals...The police bikes around here run 'em and they sound good, but not loud. I like the performance of the 2:1, and has a nice rumble if I ride "normal"....but twist the wick hard and she roars..loudly

Hey Thanks again guys. I'll have to print this out so I can keep up with it
and research. I'm a middle class family man so I can't empty the bank out on this. I may check out those converted stock pipes when the time is right or a used pair of slip-ons. That is when the boss gives me the OK. I would get them now but it's getting cold outside. The better half will change the locks on house if I jump to fast right now. LOL!

The Fulsac muffs have a great sound and some performance added in. He uses stepped inserts. I had them on my police bike, and was asked about them once by a cop. I pointed to the HD number and explained that they were "Police Muffs" from out of state. He let me go. They aren't real loud, unless you crank it up on the highway, you can hear yourself think.
