Tim Burton Alice in Wonderland 3D...highly recommend
We went last night for a family night out / break from working the Fish Fry. It was really good. Typical Tim Burton fantasy with cartoonish backdrop and wild characters. Johnny Depp was very....well...Johnny Deppish, but not like Jack Sparrow. Anne Hathaway is well, hot. While we had a 10 yr old with us, I suspect I would still enjoy the movie. Worth the little extra for the 3D also. I would recommend pre-buying tickets if you can as all the shows were sold out by 7p last night. The look on the teenage faces as I stride up, hand over my card, and recieved three tickets was priceless.
Each of these movies in 3D gets a little better with the effects. They had a really cool preview of another TRON movie. That is looking really cool and my daughter is really wanting to see it too. How cool!

My family went last night also. We agree, very good movie! Helena Bonham was very funny as the red queen.

The one review I read raked it over the coals, so I figured it'd be good.

We enjoyed it last night as well. Get your tickets from fandango.com easiest way. I thought the 3D was "ok" a few of the 3D effects seemed a bit blurry, but maybe it was just my eyes, I don't know.

we saw it today - be sure to see it in 3D and in IMAX. The extra $4 was well worth it!.

Couldn't talk the wife into driving back across town for the IMax experience. Bummer. Theater people advised everyone NOT to throw away the glasses...they cost $40!!!!!
I thought the 3D was pretty good, not overpowering. Way better than the Monsters v Aliens, but not tons slicker than Polar Express.

Tell me about fandango.com, please sir. I went to the site but didn't see instructions. Do you pick your tickets up at the theater or print them yourself?

Some theaters don't allow you to purchase tickets online at fandango.com. At Fandango you pay for the tickets online and then print you tickets out at home. They do charge a fee though, I think it's $1 per ticket. We've used it several times.

Uh, around here you pay at Fandango, but you pick up at the theater. It adds $1 to the price of each ticket, but guarantees you a seat at the ones likely to be sold out.

Our theater has an online site...you pay on line with the credit and then show up at the theater with the same card. They scan the card and hand you the tickets. no fee.

Apparently, T, you'll need to use it to find out how it works in Texas.
A lot like traffic laws, I guess.

Buying you tickets early is only half the deal - then you have to get there 3 hrs early and stand in line to get the seats you want.
