Freezing cigars to prevent cigar beetles?
Anybody do this regularly on incoming cigars as a preventative measure?
Sounds like not so much of a pain as a great risk to take with expensive cee-gars. Anybody ever had cigar beetles hatch out and wreak havoc in your humidor? Trying to weigh the risk of damage from freezing (double bagged, no air, fridge before and after) against the risk of cigar beetles.

Don't know anyone who had a problem with beetles. I would hope expensive cigars don't come with beetles

I've never had the beetle problem. It could be devestating if it ever happened, but so could a metorite through the ceiling.

Yeah, Boop's gonna love having cigars stored in her freezer.
I would think a frost-free freezer would suck any moisture right out of the cigars, just like they do to food.
