I'm cautiously optimistic that Disney won't mess up Star Wars. It will likely depend on how many Lucas Film writers and employees make the transition to the new projects.

Well I'm hoping that something good will come of this. My son loves star wars but hate watching episodes 1-3. Hopefully these new ones will be good and buffer out those three mistakes.
