I wasn't too sanguine about going to see the new version since I've seen forty-eleven versions in the last fifty years plus read the book.

BUT!!!!

I loved every minute of it. Milla Jovovich as Milady, Orlando Bloom as a deliciously slimey Buckingham, and steampunk touches to make it completely different from any Three Muskateers movie done until now. After my first incredulous reaction I moved into the spirit of the thing and enjoyed the heck out of it.
